15th International Pharmaceutical Technology Symposium

Dear Colleagues,

It’s my great pleasure to welcome you to the 15th International Pharmaceutical Technology Symposium in Antalya which will be held on 13-15 September, 2010 under the auspice of Hacettepe University.

IPTS 2010 will feature a theme of “Advanced Therapeutic Systems from Innovative Technology to Commercialization”. The program will consist of three parallel tracks in each of 3 days: scientific sessions on Nanotechnology; regulatory sessions on “Quality by Design”, “Biosimilarity” and "Patent", and educational sessions on “Development and Manufacturing of Solid Dosage Forms”. The world-renowned plenary speakers and lecturers will address on the latest advances in the field.

I would like to announce that an exciting “CRS - IPTS Educational Workshop on Vaccine Development” will be held on 11-12 September, 2010.

IPTS 2010 Exhibition will also be made up of industrial exhibitors.

The International Pharmaceutical Technology Symposium have being organized biennial since 1982 as a pioneer, with a boundless enthusiasm of the colleagues from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy at Hacettepe University. The IPTS has become a very well known scientific symposium in pharmaceutical technology, with the precious supports and encouraging of our colleagues all around the world, and also the industrial partners in Turkey. I and my colleagues from the Organizing Committee hope and believe that, as the former IPTSs achieved, the 15th IPTS will offer great opportunities to the scientists for discussing recent topics in the field, will bring the academia, industry and health authorities together for sharing their experiences, and will help all the participants from academia and industry to solve current problems and challenges in practice.

We look forward to seeing you in Antalya-Turkey in a wonderful season of the Mediterranean for enjoying the “sea and sun” as well as hot topics in science.
